I'm Shelia Taylor.

Purple is my favorite color and I a symbol tattooed on the inside of my left arm that I call my music note of good luck. (It's a bass clef shaped into a heart shaped into a four leaf clover.)

I could give you the standard boring about me spiel but how about I just give you some facts about me instead:

* I am writer.

* I am a music nerd. I listen to music on the average of 16+ hours a day. It helps that my big girl job is for a media & entertainment company. You can find some of the band I like listed under LINKS.

* I am a hockey geek. I will talk hockey to anyone who listens. All my hockey related posts can be found HERE 

* Nick is my Australian Silky Terrier. He's a knuckle head, stubborn, and will play fetch all damn day.

* I have a cast of characters of family and friends in my life. I wouldn't trade them for the world.

* I love the music of Jimmy Buffett and Rammstein equally. Yes, opposite ends of the music spectrum. Both put me in a good mood.

* I love Key West and visit every year.

* I love Australia and will be living there very soon. Tomorrow, if I had my way.
